1, Why are you studying the Media?

Well, it is a very sexy branch. If you work hard enough and are good at what you do, you can work with multimillion companies on an almost daily basis. It is very exciting to have a chance to work with companies known worldwide.

You also get a chance to really change people’s behaviour and routines in the everyday life. Make them move from point A to B, sort of say. To have ability and resources to influence people’s decisions whether there is a small one like ‘where should I eat today’ or a big one like ‘I wonder where I should go to vacation next year’ is something that really gets me going.

And of course, you can make a difference. Thanks to media many organisations that help less fortunate to raise unbelievable amounts of money, with help of commercial, TV-shows, celebrities and so on. This is only one example of how you really can improve the world we live in with the help of media.
